Interview
Why should I recruit you ?

I only started training specifically for running for 6 months so I don’t think that I reached my full potential and indeed I have quite a big scope for improvement. I recently improve a lot my speed which was my weakness, I think that I’m more skillful than I was before.
I am also very persistent which helped me to achieve great things during my first XC season ( 9th at nationals) and that got me motivated for much more !
Why do you want to compete at US Colleges?
I’ve always considered attending university in the US and competing in the NCAA which is the best way, I think, to conciliate studies and sport at a high level. Indeed, I really want to line up with the best to become one of the best, so it’s a big step for me to be able to take part of the NCAA events and compete in such a great field. Moreover, I love the fact that athletics in US colleges is almost a collective sport as much as the team take a huge part.
What do you want to achieve in Track/XC?
I only did a short season in the track in my entire life, so I want to continue to discover these kind of races while beating all my pb’s from the 1500m to the 5000m. I started running with the cross country races so that’s one of my favorite part of the year and that always made me better for the summer. In both ways, I want to compete at the best level as I can to try, one day, to represent my country during junior or senior championships. I also have the diamond league races and the olympics of Paris in a small part of my brain.
College and life goals?

Whatever I’m going to do, I want to represent as good as I can the college I’m a part of because I find this really prestigious. In the US, I would like to do a pre laws course to become a lawyer. I really want to be completely fluent in English as soon as possible to have the best profile as I can when I’ll graduate.

Anything to add ?
I am also enthusiastic about being involved in the campus and voluntary life which is already important fo me here in France as I used to contribute of the organization of track and field’s events around my city.
As you probably understood, I’m really looking forward to this unique experience in the US which would represent a dream come true ! I’m definitely ready to work hard and fight for my university !
