Why I should recruit you ?

  You should recruit me because

- I’m a young athlete (I’m practicing track and field -400m- for only 3 years)

- according to my coach I have significant additional potential that could easily be developed,

- despite my limited experience of competitions, I achieved to get the 11th place in the French outdoor competition competing against athletes of my age having much more experience and years of training,

- I’m a motivated athlete that works hard to achieve his goals and I’m not afraid, when it comes to train, to commit myself entirely.

- And before the covid pandemic, I was training 5 times with my coach per week plus 1 session with my physio

Why do you want to compete at US Colleges?

I would really like to compete in U.S. colleges because sports are much more valued in the US than in France. Combining training and studies is much easier and efficient and it makes me dream about it, the training structures are very different from what I’m used to in France as well as the support to the athletes. American athletes and coach have a worldwide recognition and I am eager to be trained by one of them. Furthermore, the standard of US colleges competitions is very high, and I’m willing to train and compete against good athletes to be better myself and develop my full potential to his best.

What do you want to achieve in Track?

To begin with, I would like to be able to win a medal in a college competition or at least represent my school to the highest level I can get, if not in individual, then in relay. I also want to discover new ways of training. The final goal, maybe a dream (who knows!) would be to represent my country in an international competition.

College and life goals?

My target would be to stay for at least 4 years to earn a bachelor’s degree, and potentially, to stay 2 more years to achieve a master’s degree. The domain I’d like to study are either business or exercise science to become a physiotherapist for athletes.

Anything to add?

In the middle of my first season, I hurt my hip, and I missed most of the outdoor season after it. Since then, I haven’t got any injuries which could prevent me to train and compete, thanks to the weekly sessions with my physiotherapist. This injury taught me to listen more carefully to my body. I’m also very resistant to pain in general, training hard doesn’t scare me.
